Michael Stolzar Michael I. Stolzar offers the Firm’s clients an extraordinary combination of analytical skills, experience, legal knowledge and skill in negotiating contracts and other legal documents. He counsels businesses in raising capital through private placements and public offerings and represents public companies in matters relating to compliance, reporting and other requirements of federal securities laws and the rules of self-regulatory organizations. Additionally, he represents businesses of all sizes in mergers, acquisitions, recapitalizations, financings and other complex transactions. Mr. Stolzar’s clients include investment bankers and advisors, whom he counsels on all aspects of their businesses including structural organization.

Before bringing his expertise to Westchester County in 2004 Mr. Stolzar was associated with and partner in several New York City law firms. His peers have recognized him at the highest level of professional excellence by giving him an “AV® Peer Review Rating in the respected Martindale-Hubbell rating system.

Michael Stolzar’s personal life is all about service and leadership. He has chaired the Village of Rye Brook, New York Planning Board and Ethics Board (of which he continues to serve as a member) and is a former member of the New York City Human Rights Commission. In addition, Michael has served as president of Community Synagogue of Rye (New York) and has been an active participant in numerous other civic and charitable organizations.

Mr. Stolzar’s many accomplishments include having completed over 30 marathons. He has combined his dedication to community with his passion for running by co-founding and co-chairing a series of annual races that raised money for the American Red Cross.
Mr. Stolzar is a graduate of Columbia Law School, where he was a Kent Scholar and a Stone Scholar. He is also a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Rochester.
